Before you start
Use a supported browser with microphone access. Allow the site to use your mic when prompted. Sign a BAA with Notra Labs, LLC before recording real patient visits.
Record
- Open Record.
- Enter a patient name you will recognize later. If Patient name lookup is on in Account, matching names from your other visits appear as you type.
- Pick the template that matches this encounter (SOAP, H&P, Clinic, and so on).
- Choose Start Recording and conduct the visit as usual.
- Choose Stop when the encounter is over. Do not close the tab until upload finishes.
After you stop
Notra transcribes the audio, then generates a structured note and suggested ICD-10 and CPT codes using your template and general rules. Open Notes to review when processing finishes.
On the web you are signed out after 30 minutes without activity. Recording is an exception — idle logout will not interrupt an in-progress recording. Signing out of the website does not sign you out of the iPhone app.
